CHILLY GOBI / GOBI 65

Chilly Gobi, Gobi Manchurian, baby corn recipes, mushroom recipes are the only hope for vegetarian people in restaurants. If vegetarians go to restaurants as a gang along with non-vegetarians, all veg starters be shared with non-veg people, but non-veg dishes are only for non-veg people, ohhh soo sad vegetarians.
Chilly gobi also called as Gobi 65 is the first part of Gobi manchurian, today I am going to share a recipe for Chilli Gobi/Gobi 65 and it is a very good appetizer. I prepared this to accompany with lemon rice.

Ingredients

Cauliflower- Florets 2 Cups
Oil To Fry
To Marinate

Chilli Powder 1 tblsp(As per taste)
Corrainder powder 1 1/2 tblsp
Cumin powder 1/2 tblspn (Optional)
Garam Masala 1/2 tsp
Pepper 1/2 tblsp (Coarsley powdered)
Chicken 65 Masala 1 tblsp
Curd 2 tblsp
Turmeric Powder 1 tsp
Ginger Garlic Paste 1 tblsp
Rice Flour 2 tblsp
Corn flour 2 tblsp
Salt As per taste

Instructions

1) Separate the florets from cauliflower, cut into your desired size, wash it in tap water. Meanwhile heat a cup of water in a pan added some salt and turmeric, once the water boils add the florets to the hot water. Let it boil for few minutes, off the stove and close the pan with lid.Leave it for 5 minutes.
2) In a bowl, add the above mentioned items and check for salt and spice.

3)
Now filter the florets from the pan and add it to the paste in the bowl.Mix it well and marinate not less than two hours.

4) Heat oil in a pan, put a small piece of masala into the oil, if the masala returns back to the top as fast as it is dropped, your oil is ready for fry.

5) Put each piece of marinated florets into the oil.Let it fry and once it turns to a dark brown color filter it and place it in a tissue paper.

6) Transfer it to a bowl with a tissue paper. Serve it with lemon and onion if needed.
